As you may know,my mother passed away December 26. Well,my stepdad had her cell phone turned off 1 month ago. He still has the phone. Saturday night he is sitting at a birthday party and discussing her with some old friends he hadn't seen in a while,when his phone rings and her name is on the caller ID. He tried to answer but it was loud and he couldn't tell who it was. He hasn't been able to get ahold of them as of yet. We understand the number probably has been given to someone else but why would they be calling him? She did always say if she goes first that she was going to haunt him.
That is Weird, because they usually don't give out numbers until a couple of years of inactivity... I guess it could have slipped through... Another thing to think about, and I'm not saying this is in anyway what happened, but just so you know it's out there.... There is a app that you can use to call someone and make it show up on their caller id as anyone else in their contacts. All they would have to know is your step dads number and your mothers number. That would be some kind of sick joke, but there is such a thing.
You want weird? I bought my 1 acre lot off my brother. On the north boundry of my lot is a small family cemetery with many relatives and neighbors buried from decades ago. On my deed is a single grave noted which is outside the cemetery. It is the grave of my great Uncle Jake. His wife died before he did. She was buried within the cemetery boundry with a space next to her for him. He, while still alive, said he did not want to be buried next to her. He said he had been pestered and picked on by her all his adult life and did not wih to be tormented by her in the afterlife. He ask that he be buried away from her...and his grave is now recorded on my land.

I received a phone call from my best friend about 4 hours after he died in a car accident. His phone was destroyed in said accident. This was 5 years ago before iphone apps. Weird **** happens, for sure.

A few years ago we had an issue with cell phone where a persons phone would do something like that. Sitting around with friends at dinner and her phone called mine but it was just sitting in her purse and knowone was near it. Happened a few times with different people over a weeks time. Hasn't happened again since. I think it was a cell company glitch.
