Very proud of my son

    His high school team broke their two game losing streak. They won 38-14 and he had a great game. Played guard and D end. He really was lights out. So proud hearing his name over the loud speaker for tackles. Sorry but had to share he was down after their start. Waiting up for him. He will be on cloud nine.

    People that aren't involved with these kind of activities don't understand but I know you're proud of the work to fight through the adversity.

    My daughter is a collegiate dancer with a national championship in high school, her high school sweetheart is at the same college on a full ride as a starting defensive end. Son plays high school baseball, so I get it..

    Congratulations to your son. It is good you are an involved parent so no reason to not want to share his triumphs. Some of my best "bonding" moments with my son were after his High School Games, not only the successes but more importantly the failures.

    Good luck the rest of the season and enjoy every minute of it. In a blink of an eye it will be over and the next chapter will begin. But it's all good.
