The date on the photos are correct. I was really surprised to see this.
Considering a doe is pregnant for approx 6 months, these fawns appear to be approx 2 months old. That means this doe was knocked up in like, March??
Last weekend I also saw button bucks still hanging with their mother? Been a weird season for sure!

Very interesting. I guess if 3 generations of does all had a late estrus cycle and were bred that late in continuous years it would happen. Pretty cool.

EDIT: If does aren't being bred with during the regular first cycle you might want to consider checking the buck:doe sex ratio, you might have too many does or not enough bucks.

Now those pictures would really mess with some people. I thought mine was weird.

That's crazy Dan. Only 1 time did I see a fawn with spots while hunting, and that was early October and the fawn was pretty big already.

That's pretty crazy, I had some show up close to or a little after season started and thought that was kinda late. Haven't seen any with spots though.

I could have shot that fawn a couple of times, and wish I would have. Would have made a nice little rug and would have been crazy tender. I don't think it made it though the winter.

Hehe, he does look furry! I was wondering the same about these. If we get a harsh winter, could they survive? Both appear to be buttons too.
