Friday evening was hot but winds where calm and quiet. Doe walked out into the plot 40yards, i took my time even aimed a little low and she ducked like i never seen a deer duck before. The arrow took a few hairs off her back as i seen the lighted knock pass right over her, then the beautiful sound of blowing came shortly after. No blood clean miss suck it up. Next day i slept in deer havent been moving in the mornings anyway. Saturday evening again hot but calm and quiet. Two does come out in the plot 30 yards so picked the one board side and slung one. Well mid flight i see the arrow kick out to the right and stick the doe in the back hind quarter. My mouth dropped i couldnt believe what happened. Then looked closer and seen the limb i couldnt see in my sights. I was sick because i knew the shot was horrible. She bled for 100 yards where i found my arrow then just stopped. We looked for a while after and judging by the way she mainly walked off we think she will make it i hope anyway. I've never had deer duck like these to deer before in my life and the only thing different is i'm using lighted nocks. Taking this week off to rest my nerves, i hate losing deer.
