I am currently straddling the fence between the Trophy Ridge V5 and a HHA optimizer. I love vertical pins because of the limited sight obstruction. I am concerned about the optimizer having to adjust it while deer are out in front of me. The Trophy Ridge V5 can be set and seems to be very accurate on my Mathews no cam htx. Any thoughts or recommendations.

Personally I wouldn't like the V5 something about the sight picture just doesn't work with me. If I went with a Trophy ridge it would probably be the Trio.

Think I'll chime in- I have both the V3 and V5. Both are awesome sights, very durable, easy to set least amount of clutter inside the sight window. Also best gap shooting sight I've ever used-because there's no true gap, just a straight line. It's very similar to a BDC scope.

My V3 is set up for 30/40/50; my V5 is set up for 35/45/55/65/75.

I have HHA sights on both my bows. I set the sght t 25 yards and I can shoot all the way out to 40 yards and not have to adjust the sight. In almost all situations, if a deer is farther than that, you will have time to range him and make an adjustment. I range various trees, logs, stumps and so on from my stand to know the yardages. I have determined I will not take a shot over 40 yards on a whitetail so leaving the pin set at 25 works for me.

I now have tested both sights on my bow the V5 was super easy to set and the HHA Optimizer Lite Ultra took forever but once I got it set I was extremely accurate. The site window of the optimizer Lite Ultra is the XL and it works perfectly with the quarter inch peep sight. Both have a great field of view but I do think the HHA is a little bit better. still undecided but right now if I had to choose it would be the HHA!

How inaccurate would I be using the 20 to 40 method versus the 20 to 60 method on the HHA
