Hey guys, so I got my buck processed by a butcher this year and had him make me cheese salami and snack sticks. I got it back on february 1st with everything vacuum sealed. I threw a bunch of it in the freezer. I kept a stick of the salami in the fridge as well as some snack sticks. My question is.. How long will the snack sticks stay good for in the fridge if vacuum sealed? The cheese salami?? Its March 3rd now and Im just wondering if I should throw the stuff out and take some from the freezer or does this vacuum seal do as good of a job as I think its doing? Thanks a lot for any help.
Cured meat in the fridge as long as its sealed I would say 2-3 months thats if its never been opened a resealed since thaw Sent from my iPhone 5s using Tapatalk
Once you open it keep in a paper bag rather than plastic. It will start to dry and get hard but the flavor will also get better. Why arent you eating it?
I've eaten a ton, but in my personal fridge. The meat Im talking about is at my mothers, in her fridge. Just wanted to make sure its still edible lol
