My buddy picked up a roadkill orphan it appeared that mama had enough left in her to birth this little gal out before she died. He said it was like nothing he'd ever seen before. Now without mama, it appears that the little lady will need to be bottle fed, and will likely be living in a 12 acre pen that a local taxidermist owns.

That's very  . I hope the little one makes it ok on the bottle.

P.S. Make sure he has the proper permits to take care of the deer. Don't want to get :busted: .

as long as the fawn is healthy...it will be fine on the bottle.

My buddy raises deer and he hand feeds the doe fawns and keeps them in the house while they are babies. It keeps them a little more tame as they get older. He uses a milk replacer of some sort for livestock.

We've had twins before at my grandma's farm after road kill and turned them
over to the Wisconsin Dnr. I wish I still had the pics from that experience with her
holding them both. Thanks for bringing back some cool memories.
