Does anyone have a good recipe for stew or a meat sauce for pasta???? im a fat kid in disguise and am always looking for new things to do with deer other than jerky or sausage....... Ive had a duck meat sauce for pasta that was crazy good and was wondering if anyone knew of anything to do with venison that would be as good in a stew or meat sauce. Thanks.:confused:

For a stew I cube the meat and sprinkle tenderizer on it then let it sit at room temp for a few hours.Chop onion, garlic and any veggies you want and mix them in a bowl, set aside.I use potatoes and beans in my stew but I add them at the end of the cooking because they tend to soften and fall apart. In an oiled pan brown the meat and drain excess oil.In a slow cooker mix 2 boxes of beef stock and one box veggie stock and put it on high till its hot,add your meat and veggies and let it cook for 6 to 8 hours.About 2 hours before its done I add taters and beans. Some biscuits and a cold one an your good to go.
