Got round one of the venison jerky done! 140 lbs of meat = 13 lbs of jerky. Gonna have to put some more deer down to have 'nuff jerky to last the year. My son, cousin and neighbor put down a lb each already!
wow, that is great! how do you make it? i'll gind mine and put it on the dehydrator thru the "meat gun"
You might as well concede right now!:D We make our jerky by slicing it 3/8" thick, marinating 24 hours and then into the smoker for several hours. Well, gotta get out there and try to put more venison down for more jerky!
