Had venison bacon to make an egg mcmuffin. Doubled it up for two. Much better than mcdonalds. Sorry Ronald. Have elk meatballs in crockpot for tonight.

All it is is ground up venison with pork added. Put it in 8 x 8 tins to smoke. Slice and package. Basically formed bacon. Pretty good with the smoke flavor. You let it stand overnight after mixing to cure. You can buy kits at cabelas or other similar places. Pretty easy to make.

Actually the 8 x 8 tins are for forming the bacon while curing. You don't smoke with tins if that makes sense.

Just finished a Crock-pot roast from last years buck. Put onto rice, then onto egg noodles, then with smashed taters over 3 days. Sooo good.

Just finished eating my inner loins that I got from the buck I shot Friday night. I marinated over 24 hrs and had them with eggs. Yummy breakfast.

The last time I ate some venison I had some burgers mixed with a pack of dry ranch dressing. I got the idea from justin and they turned out pretty good.

Gave my first of the year to the neighbors. They're gardeners, I hunt and fish. Even trade and proof that it takes all kinds. Had her butchered into summer sausage, bologna, hot dogs and cube.
