I have a full plate of Veni Bites seasoned up and waiting for the can of Coke. I might even mess around and put in a cherry coke. If you are here by 5 tomorrow night Fitz there might be some left for you, but you have to fight my kids for them :)

Hey Tom, that's the recipe that calls for Coke, right? How do you cut them up and how thick are they?

I was REALLY looking forward to trying this recipe but we had crazy bad storms that knocked the power out for days here in central ohio and all my venison went bad and thawed in the freezer

Guess I gotta saddle up and shoot another doe this year!

Sorry to hear that Rutin. I am thinking about getting a generator just for that reason.

I can't wait until I get a deer, this will be the first meal I eat from it.

2 Fridays ago. I lost power for 5 days, but was able to take my frozen goods to my parents house. They have a heavy duty generator and just enough room in their deep freezer :)

No only Dawg has to wrap bacon around venison to make it taste good :)
