    If you mount a buck that is in velvet does the velvet stay on there rack or does it fall off

    The mulie I got this year is currently in a freeze dryer to preserve the velvet.

    I never get a chance to see deer during season that are in velvet...i would like to have a shot at one some time in my life

    The Velvet will stay with no issues as long as it's in good shape when taken! My Son took a nice velvet buck when he was 12, he's now 32 & the mount looks as good today as the day he shot it!
