Escalation and those pushing agendas will happen anyway.

The art of debate/arguing helps get to a very stable perspective and well thought out position.

And the initial legislation proposed denied you due process.

So semi auto rifles that looks scary get banned. Happened before and nothing changed. All the studies proved it did nothing, those facts are out there.

So they do it again, nothing will change.

Next stop is, we have to do more. They go after all semi auto's including handguns.

    Nothing will change.

Next stop is we have to do even more. They go after Revolvers.

    Nothing will change

It's knee jerk reactions based on emotions amd fear mongering.

Do any if you really think they will stop at scary looking ArmaLite rifles? You don't think they will go for more a year or two down the road when nothing changes?

"Rednecks are up in arms because they think we are coming for their guns, no one is goi g ro take your guns" they say.

Go read the headlines of what Hillary, Moore and many other gun violence experts are spewing

You're telling me they can write these bills in 3 to 4 days? No way. They are sitting on these, just waiting for an incident to start pushing their agenda again. It's truly sickening how they prey on emotions to try and shove their agenda down peoples throats.

It gets refiled every year, this year they added the "trigger modifying device" term which would probably make any type of trigger modifying for match shooting or smoothness illegal.

Yawn... will take a supermajority to pass and that is highly unlikely to occur

Banning bump stocks? What's the point? I own couple handguns and hunting rifles, I don't know what a bump stock does?

Interestingly enough, the NRA is calling for regulations on them.

Now here will come the "if NRA is on board than we need more because it's fishy"

    This Michael Moore guy is hillarious.........his proposition;

A "28th Amendment," Moore wrote, would demand that "the primary right of all people to be free from gun violence ... shall not be infringed."

Moore recommended that men must get spousal approval for firearm purchases, a requirement he says has "greatly reduced" domestic violence in Canada.

"As over 90% of gun violence is committed by men, in order for a man to purchase a gun, he must first get a waiver from his current wife, plus his most recent ex-wife, or any woman with whom he is currently in a relationship (if he's gay, he must get the waiver from his male spouse/partner)," Moore wrote.

2nd created to allow people to defend their homes from everyone including the government.

When the government has much bigger and badder weapons than the average man, is the common man in danger of being bullied by a corrupt government?

He's a real piece of work. The only way that could be better is if it was on video and him saying it. The guy is hilarious when he speaks, complete nutcase.

Which leads me to the next point. The far left.

When you get the likes of Madonna blowing up the WH, Kathy Griffin and her ISIS shot, the lefts slogan of "Resist", defending the motives and terroristic tactics of AntiFa and the list can go on and on. Is it any surprise we are where we are today?

I've said it before but I think a lot of them have mental illnesses and maybe liberalism in general should be a classification of mental capacity.

    They are insane people

Look at what the BLM group did at my college when the ACLU attempted to speak. They literally refused to allow them to speak......unbelievable. They are willing to suppress free speech. Dangerous waters....

    http://iotwreport.com/blm-disrupts-aclu-event-at-william-and-mary/

"“Liberalism is white supremacy,” according to protesters at William & Mary who shut down a discussion with the ACLU about free speech on campus last week. The protesters with Black Lives Matter then boasted about doing so on Facebook."
