I have made the switch to the Easton Axis arrows for this years hunting season. I wanted more penetration and was told to go with the Axis. I have also been doing some reading on the VAP arrow and a lot of people say that they are the best penetrating arrow on the market. What do you guys think? Easton Axis or VAP

I plan on using vap's for an elk hunt. They weigh in at just over 400 grains with the ss inserts and shuttle t's. I have achieved 4" groups at 80 yards with the VAPs. I have confidence in hitting anything at 40 yards with the VAPs. Seriously doubt I will attempt any shots beyond 35 on the elk but feel confident that there will be elk meat in the freezer this year.

I use VAPs and won't use anything else. I get great penetration with them. Just recently got some VAPs with the new ICE nano coating and it takes no strength to pull my arrows out of a target. Great product.
