Thank you Josh! Absolutely awesome man.

I will start with Map 1 on Woodbury and mark it up with some spots that seem good. And if you guys want to compare notes and thoughts that would be great.

Then on to the Conesville map.

    Thanks again Josh.

Went over a couple of Josh's maps and bing'ed in some of the general locations mostly in sector 3. Picked out a few natural pinch points. I am no expert by any means, but it looks good to me. Everything I learned in the mapping and topo department is pretty much a product of you two guys so it cant be to bad right? :hail:

Last, e-mail me some of those maps your marked up. I would love to see them. I am heading out on an 8 hour overtime detail tonight that will have me sitting in my cruiser, lights blaring while guys pave the streets=boring and want to think about hunting. hahaha

Well, I haven't been on here very much at all lately... Works been crazy and I really got bit by the fishing bug this year.... With that being said... I'm getting back into hunting gear now... and just free'd up 32 hours of vacation that I have to use.... Makes me think.... Could someone tell me what page to find the core details on? Date, Location, ETC.... Is it too late for me to toss the idea of "possibly" coming?

Definitely not to late! We are planning on hunting Woodbury Wildlife Area and AEP Conesville 11-1 - 11-5ish. Camp is still up in the air, but its looking like we will be pitching tents at Whisperings Falls Campground in Warsaw, OH which is about 6 mi from WWA.

Hey guys many of you dont know me but as much as I would love to tag along with you all I dont think that will happen this year!

I do have a suggestion though, I along with a few other hunting buddies did a DIY public land hunt in Ohio a few years ago, we hunted the Athens area.

I am not sure how much fun pitching a tent would be in November..? We all pitched together and rented a nice cabin for the week. We stayed I think Sun-Sat and between 4 of us I dont think we payed over $225 a person. It looks like there will be more then that going in your group, so maybe you could even get that cost lower?

The only downfall was we had to drive a 1/2hr everyday to and from, but it was well worth it to get a hot shower and sleep comfortably.

Gd Luck to all of you , I was just throwing that out there!

Ohhh and pay attention to Grizzly and his maps, he is the man when it comes to that stuff. He has helped me with several pieces of land and is ALWAYS spot on!!!

    Yep, that is it last.

comescrashing. We are going to be hunting public land in Coshocton, OH from Nov 1-2 to Nov 6 or so. People can come and go earlier or later, yet the majority are arriving late on Nov 1st or real early on Nov 2nd.

Places we are going to hunt: Woodbury Wildlife Area (most are hunting this area) and Conesville Coal Company property.

We are trying to get a place to campout and we have some leads. About 5-7 of us will be hunting at the two above locations and another 5-7 will more than likely camp out with us after the hunt in other places in OH. Anyone is welcome. The only glitch I can possibly foresee is the size of the campground spot and its limitations in terms of how many people can camp out there. But, I think I can get it resolved and the worst case scenario, a couple of groups camp out only a couple of miles apart and we rendezvous at night. I don't think it will get to that.

I would really like to hunt with other people some days, and others move in by myself.

You can e-mail me at [email protected] if you need any other particular info you don't feel like posting on here. That goes for anyone else.
