Anyone out there using constrictor ropes on their climbing sticks instead of cam straps? I want to make some, and wondered what size and kind of rope anyone else recommends. There used to be a guy talking about it five years ago online, and he was selling them. I assume he's not, as my searches haven't turned up anything later than 2009. I have one on an old "Master Hunter" tree stand that I've used for decades and it worked really well, but the rope should be replaced. Constrictor ropes are so quiet, lightweight and simple. That stand and rope weigh only six pounds total. Thanks.
