Well folks, the Spiderbull is down. Doyle Moss and the Mossback team guided a hunter with the Utah Governor's tag to the bull this morning. They have been watching him all summer and he is HUGE. I was keeping up with their website www.mossback.com and they had video of him all summer long. So far what I've heard is that he green gross' at 500 4/8. The net is somewhere around 488. This is a legit bull killed on public trophy unit lands in Utah, fair chase with no high fence. It was killed somewhere on Monroe Mountain. Once I get pictures I will be sure to post them here and I'm sure your jaws will be hitting the floor! ;)

Funny, I was telling my brother in law about this bull yesterday and was wondering when someone was going to hunt him.

    Amazing!

I don't know the story at all and I don't know why my first thought was this but it was...

Governor's tag + trophy region = another rich man getting to hunt and kill a world record on "public land".

    I could be wrong.

I was thinking the same thing.

Congrats to the guides for getting on such a monster, and congrats to the hunter for doing what he needed to do. That is an incredible animal.

Yea I know it doesn't sound that great, but I know this area and I know it was a public land hunt. People can draw for this but it is really hard to do. Yea it does kinda piss you off though that just because this guy has money he gets to kill the most likely new world record. It was almost handed to him because the Mossback team has been tracking the bull all summer.
