Somewher between working on the house and hitting golf balls I have something wrong with my right hand. It's been progressively bothering me more everyday for the past week or so. Not really sure how, where or what I did exactly. It's the lower right part of the back of my right hand a little above my wrist. I went to grab a flatbar this morning and it felt like somebody shocked my hand and I dropped it. Can hardly move my ring and pinky finger:mad::mad:. Not exactly a good situation with the golf season/business around the corner. Really hurts like HELL!

You been pounding away with a hammer or sledgehammer? I have another scenario as to why your right hand might be hurting but I will keep silent on that one.

One great thing about wrists is that they respond very well to ice. Ice it a good 6-8 times today every 1.5-2 hours and I bet within two days your wrist feels 50%-75% better.

Lol yeah I kind of set myself up for that one. Figured it would be coming.

It's more in the back of the hand than wrist.

That area will still respond well to ice. Small area with lots of blood vessels=pain even if the injury is not that significant. Ice it up all day today.

Maybe you just aren't ready to take your bathroom renovation to the next level after all...

Hope you get it figured out.

i'd try and keep good range of motion in it after i iced it down well. soooooo many small bones in the wrist hard to tell sometimes. hopefully just a nerve is pinched and it'll work itself out. funny but i usually know my joints are getting better after a tweek when they start to crack again.

You may have damaged the triangular meniscus(TFCC). This is a common injury, from "over-use"

Go see a Doc. This may be able to be handled with a simple Cortisone injection.

Hopefully the issue is along the lines of what I've just suggested, or, a tendinitis in the complex soft tissue(ligaments and tendons) within the wrist, and, nothing is torn.

Could easily be Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

Ice it at night, and take the maximum dose of Ibuprofen (great anti inflammatory) for a week. If it's still bothering you go see a doc then.

Well like an idiot I just ignored it today and did what I usually do (no... not that). Some sort of mound has formed on the back of my hand. Not loose swelling kind of thing, but it feels hard and really painfull. I think I'll stick it in a bucket of ice and see what happens. Maybe x rays or mri if it doesn't get better in a week or so. Sucks.
