I am not sure what some folks have against lasers for setting up bows. IMO, lasers are very good tools when used correctly. You can set centershot, check cam lean at any stage during the draw cycle, align the pins on your sight, check limb twist, check the riser straightness and probably a lot of other stuff I am not smart enough to think of. A laser is nothing more than a lighted string that goes in an exact straight line and it can be a very useful tool with a little openminded thought. I often wonder if the people that disparage the use of lasers have ever even used one to any extent or if they just dislike it because it is "newfangled" and they don't really understand it.
I've got one but my experience is that I can eyeball centershot just as well as the laser and since it's just a starting reference anyway I'm going to fine tune it through shooting no matter which I use. It takes too long to set-up and is only true if it's mounted true (which I don't trust). For me personally, it hasn't shown me anything that I couldn't already see. It was a waste of good money, and a lot of it. It was fun for torturing my girlfriend's cat though! :D
Having tuned many bows over my life, my own and for a ton of customers when i had my shop , now that i dont own the shop anymore due to the economy and a Bass Pro that moved in 10 miles from me , i still repair set up and tune bows , I have to say its an expensive toy. It cannot and will not replace actually tuning the arrow to the bow. It will give you a starting point thats it, and I can do that by eye just as easy just like checking cam lean as i have done for years
