What are some of the meanings/significances of your usernames? Some are pretty straight forward...first name with last name initial or the state you live in, but some are not as clear. Please excuse if this topic has been posted before. I'll start with mine. Wolfpack 1.Played golf for the "Wolfpack" while in college (NC STATE) 2.Still a diehard Wolfpack fan...even though it has been pretty difficult these past few years in basketball and football. 3.I LOOOOVVVEEE my Lone Wolf Hand Climber. 4.I simply like the wolf 5.Still like the old song "Werewolves of London" lol
For the past few years the only bucks that i can have a shot at seem to be spikers... now its a joke every year as to when ill bring back a spike ( "So Mr. Spike did you shoot the usual?" ) or as i like to call them.. 2 pointers. Makes me feel better.. ok, not really
In 2003 I signed up to learn more about training hunting dogs over on another board. I was going to sign up with the name sunrise, I love sunrises. It was taken. So, I settled for sunset. I love sunsets too. Everyone thought I was some old man though. They kept calling me buddy & pal. LOL Anyway, it just stuck.
combination of my initials and birthday... nothing too terribly original, but it gets the job done, and more often than not is available. Unless I have signed up on a site and forgot, that is...
Ive always referred to e-mails and such as Buckmaster. The bow I killed my first deer with was a Buckmaster BTR32.
One of my nicknames from way back. I didn't realize you were female until about 5 minutes ago reading another post of yours.
Way to give props you knucklehead. I dubbed this fool this name when he was high of the girl juice. My username, simple, my name and location.
Suddenly, I'm relieved :d And like Ben, mine is pretty self-explanatory. Call it a lack of creativity
LOL This thread makes me think of the Indian joke about the little papoose called Two Dogs Screwing.:d
Mine started out as bloodcreek and got changed to bloodcrick I had found a new hunting place and had it for 3 years. The stand sight was what i call the wagon wheel, I was in the hub and the bucks came from all directions on the spokes. I arrowed a nice 8 point while it was standing in a creek bed and while my buddy helped me track it, he nicknamed it bloodcreek. I lost the property to reclaim from a coal mine Last year at the now called bowhunting.com camp buckeye ask me if i pronounced it bloodcreek or bloodcrick, Then he and all the guys started calling me Crick for short so i go by bloodcrick now.
Mine was the nickname that my buddy and I gave my dad when he stopped hunting. He only had one season where he had a tag go un-filled so we got on his case about the "great white hunter"....good times.
Well it's really not very interesting. My "original" username on the "other" site was dwd2001 (initials and graduation year). A few guys on here started calling me "dubbya" at the first GTG in 2007... the name stuck. It's the first letter of my middle name.
I'm no hillbilly. A lot of people out there assume that just because I live in WV that I am a hillbilly but I'm not. I am actually form Chester County, PA down in the South East corner of the state.
