I was curious how many folks use the same trail to get to their stand locations? I've been using the same exact trail to set cams, as well as accessing my stand sites for 14 years now. I have four different locations in the same basic area. At this point even the deer use it. Every time I use it I'll remove any twigs/branches that may have fallen since the last time I used it. This is the main reason I can get in there quietly in the dark without a light. Anyone else do this?

I use the same trail to get to my stand as I use to set cameras, and take the neighbor's dog on daily walks. I have a mowed trail right to my stand and usually drop the deck as low as possible on the last mowing to help clear any debris that might make noise on my walk in. Also, in the month and a half leading up to season, I only check cameras two or three times and stop walking the dog out there to give everything a chance to settle down.

There's only one way in to most of the stands I set and they're all on public ground. Looking at topo maps it just isn't realistic to get to any of them another way.
