Ok who do you like this week? If you get to pick one player, who would you take?

    I like Luke Donald.
How about the 13th hole? Looks rough

I don't know but I need to start getting in US Open mode.

I know it's a lame pick I'll take Rory. He will avenge his Masters.

    I'm in Bubba's corner.

I am a fan, but I think the paring of tiger, him and Phil may get to him.

He really does not like the course.

Yeah Bubba doesn't strike me as a US Open Champ anytime soon. His game just doesn't seem like it meshes good with typical US Open course conditions.

I like Kuchar. He took the last couple of weeks off. He's good and rested and his game seems to fit an open championship. Plus he's due to breakthrough. He's always in the hunt, I think it's his time.

Typically I would agree, but Bubba can shape the ball more than anyone on tour. This course requires the players to shape it more than any course that they play. Which IMO will be the downfall of Tiger at this Open. Tiger tries to do too much with the ball sometimes. Draws become blocks, fades become double cross pull hooks. Put him on a course where he's forced to move it a lot and I think he gets a little wild off the tee. Then again..... who the heck knows what could happen in this tournament lol.

Phil... as long as he doese'nt go brain dead and insist on hitting driver on every par 4 and 5. Olympic is a shot placement course. If you are on the wrong side of the fairway you can really screw yourself.

I pick Tiger to win by 6 strokes. I think he will start off good the first day under par, go lower on Friday and have a Great Saturday and close it out on Sunday.

He has come around of late. It could happen.

Could it be? Reluctant to even throw it out there. But, Dam Tiger put up a good number today for round one. I understand he has been spending a lot less time with Foley on mechanics and letting his instincts and playing the game start taking over again. This will be a good measuring stick if there is any hope of the old/new Tiger emerging or not. It's early, but has my attention.
