Insecurity comes in all shapes and sizes.

I am just like Germ, right now I have been making trips to the county court house trying to find the owners of these little tiny 4-10 acre blocks of woods tucked in behind some neighborhoods down from my house. I KNOW of some MONSTER deer roaming in there, because no one that I know of hunts them. If I get permission, I'll whack one in a heartbeat and have just as big of a ****eating grin on my face for the photo as I would if he came from a PA Public land chunk. :D (Not meant to start a pissing match with any of the PA hunters who complain all the time either)

Some guys have to generalize areas of the country as easier to kill mature bucks since they can't do it at home. Others have to blame the hunting pressure around them because they can't do it. Some have to diminish others accomplishments so theirs aren't engulfed in the shadows. Deer hunting is deer hunting.

You guys want a real challenge? Start traveling to other states and try to get it done on 4-5 day schedules without the use of a guide/outfitter. Piss on pressure, know how, easiness, etc...there is NO easy way of killing a buck in a tiny time frame in unfamiliar territory. Ever.
