thanks for posting , i was starting to think i was odd man out.

i finnaly got a daytime look at the bucks in my trail cam under a water oak next to the same bean field in the heavy rain, i have been hunting the exit routes from heavy cover around this field and been seeing a lot of does and new rubs every where,if the rain would stop here i think it would pickup big time, it's so muddy here i have two walk a half mile to my stand
the scapes in the field are so muddy they look like salt licks they are so dug out, hope it dries out soon it's been raining here every day and i cant get across the creeks to my best stands.

    good luck to all.

I am North of there and on the other side of the state. My cams were just pulled yesterday and the deer are primarily moving late morning (does) and the MATURE bucks are moving around 4-6 am. It's almost time, shouldn't be but a few more days until the switch is turned on.

I'll be out tomorrow and hopefully can give you an idea of what I'm seeing. I hunt Nodaway and Worth County so I'm about as far north as you can go in Missouri. In fact, our farm is 3 miles from the IA border. All I've been seeing is does but I haven't hunted any of my "buck" spots yet.
