Is that field in the beggining of the double kill hunt the same field that you had the encounter with Freak Daddy.

Cool footage man! I really enjoyed the trailer. What type of camera were you guys using in that one?

All the hunts were filmed with a Sony 30Gb handycam hardrive cam except for the double which was a Hi8 sony cam. The Hardrive cam takes 100x better video (or at least, better for My machine to create into videos). Runs around $300-$400.

Cool...I'm in the market for a nice cam. The quality seems pretty good for $300-$400. Is the optical zoom sufficient for your needs?

If you consider 40x enough :d The video quality does reduce at anything over 35 though.

Have you ever considered an upgrade to something that records in HD? This cam is around the $600 range but the optical zoom is only 12X. I wonder since the cam DOES record in HD if the quality would suffer once the digital zoom kicks in? Maybe HD has nothing to do with quality once you run out of optical zoom?

    Sorry to hijack btw. :deer:

    Not a hijack at all,

I would LOVE to go HD, but with my shoestring students budget its just not possible. 12x wouldnt be enough either and digital zoom is the most worthless thing i have ever seen on a camera. For the time being, i think me and my brother might invest in 1 or 2 more like we have and use those.

(ps...PM me your address if you would like and i can send you a DVD so you can see the quality)
