    Hey guys,

I'm just curious as to if there is an upgrade for the standard tether that goes around the tree? I use a summit viper that I love, but it seems as if I have to loosen the tether and raise it up as I am ascending/descending the tree. I feel like this takes the longest and most effort out of the entire climb and I wasn't sure if there is any option that is easier to use and just as safe. Any insight you could provide would be great. Thank you guys!

That looks like the ticket. Is it as reliable in a fall?

The rope in the link above, has worked great for me the last 4 years. I also use a Summit Climber and have the same issue with having to adjust the strap as I go up and down. You will still have to do this with the rope at times, but it adjusts much quikcer with the prussic not.
