Well here it is. It's amazing how quickly a full 4'x8' sheet of peg board can be used up. I actually got a seperate 2'x4' piece as well for my regular tools on the other side, and I'm completely out of space on both of them. I've got one other wall that is completely open on the other side of the basement, I will likely add another bench to that one eventually. Then this one can be 100% my "outdoor" bench.

I still have some patching repair work to the one block wall down there, painting of all the walls, painting the floor, enclose a spot under the staircase for the cat's litter boxes, and add a few more shelves here and there. I also have a much more "manly" couch that is going to replace the current couch down there so that it looks a bit more like a "man cave". I'm also picking up a cable box tomorrow to get that TV hooked up, and plan to add a mini fridge down there ASAP. I will be adding some electrical outlets down there eventually as well to get some better lighting, right now everything is running off extension cords and power strips, and I know that's not the best, I'm gonna have to do this pretty soon because this is all on the same breaker as my freezers and I don't want to accidentaly pop it and not know.

Pics go in order panning through the room:

That's a great start Matt. That room will look great once you are complete.

For your draw board, what did you end up using to hold the bow? A threaded pipe and flange? A drawing board and some more PVC creations are the next projects on my list.

I saw your Medicine Stone and as much as I would love to buy it, it seems a little pricey for me. I am currently looking at picking up this sight leveler, bow vise combo.

By the second page, he has it adapted to work as a bow vise to level the sight while it is on the bow.

    What do you think?

Yep, pipe and a flange. I also used a turnbuckle on the end of the winch so that I can get those finite adjustments with it for timing, etc.

That sight levelor is nice, but worthless IMHO unless your using it like a medicine stone with the sight on the bow. Also you need to make sure the bottom plate on that thing is completely level on your bench, if that's off even a little bit your forward movement for 3rd axis will be off and may require shimming. I guess with enough fiddling and shimming it make work well if it's machined true, but I figured it's worth the $$$ to just get the Medicine Stone and know it's right. It's a big deal out here in NY, because all of our field/3D courses have some serious hills.......and a slightly off 3rd axis can easily mean the difference between 5 and a 4 at 80 yards.

Dave...I used the threaded pipe and flange for my DB as well along with the turnbuckle. I wrapped some electrical tape around the pipe to act as a cushion for the bow's grip. It works great.

Matt...its looking good man. Keep up the good work.
