I've invested in quite the array of power tools over the last year since buying the house, so I figured it's time to put this stuff to use since my bowhunting season is officially over now. I was supposed to go down to my camp in PA this weekend for some nanny whacking, but the snowstorm we are having made me decide to stay home and play with power tools instead.......:d . I'm supposed to be starting an extra bedroom and walk-in closet in our attic, but figured I would start the project list for the winter with a nice shop space in our basement so I have a place to work. 90% of this space will be for archery, the other 10% will be for general home project type stuff, I just told her I needed a place to "work"........;) .

Got a significant portion of the bench done tonight. My coach is a kitchen builder/cabinets guy by trade, so I'm going to have him looking for a 4' x 8' countertop to scavenge for me for the top. Most of the rest of the bench is done though. No pictures quite yet, but I'll post pics over the next few weeks until the entire shop is done. I've already got most of the archery specific tools so it's mostly just building and organizing at this point, it's nice to see it all come together finally in an organized fashion.

In the meantime, let's see some pics of your home archery workshops. Scott, Greg, Matt, anyone else with a home shop I don't know of..................lets see those pics here so I can get some good ideas!

Very nice! Crik, kind of a side note, but noticed the I-Joists there. What kind of span do you have in that room?

Don't have any pictures of my "shop," but it's nothing great as I still live with the parents :( Once I move into my house in June, the workshop (which has plenty of space) will be getting turned into a workshop/archery shop. Right now I have my press, vise, and fletching jig all on an old post office letter sorter, with the letter cubby holes serving as storage for my glues, tools, fletching, etc.

Here is my "work in progress"! It is about halfway done. Started about a year ago... haven't finished the pegboard rack for the other bench or the general storage shelves for the basement wall just to the right of the first picture.

Wow, Bols! That is a great looking shop for a guy that doesn't shoot or hunt! Will have to stop by one of these weekends and check it out first hand.

Who is not giving him a break? I drive by his house every other weekend and we keep saying that we are going to get together for some drinks one of these times.

These photos are a couple years old, taken right after I bought this house and threw everything together. There have been changes since I took these photos but you get the idea.

Thanks so far guys, keep them coming. I'm getting some good ideas from each of your pics.

Scott - I was actually working on this when you called last night and didn't have the phone on me. Tried to dial you back but it went straight to VM. Shoot me a message or try sometime tomorrow if you need anything.

Scott rolls so hard he presses bows with his bare hands. It's true, he pressed my arm into a pretzel once.....

Crik nice looking shop. Bols that looks awesome, except for all that "Hoyt" signage there. Wish I had room for a shop, but unfortunately my basement is already finished.

Here's my little (garage) workshop I built back in the summer when we first bought the house. Half is house stuff and the other is my bow shop. A few more things have been added to mine as well. All I need now is a chrony, arrow saw, and a nice bow vise. BTW RJ, I love the camo job. Awesome!
