Tell me if I'm right here. 10 ends a week, 7 weeks.....that's 70 paper targets right?

You could change the target that much, but most people will keep the same target for a whole game.......meaning all 30 arrows. You should only need 7 targets unless you want to practice.

Shot my local league tonight, a 450 vegas league. At the end of the first 30 arrows, I was at a 298, 21x. Unfortunately I went downhill from there pretty quickly for the last 15, and ended up with a 444-32x.

Thanks for the scoring info Matt.

THis is an individual competition right? I suck majorly at spot shooting but I'm willing to try keeping a score in the contest if I know I'm not dragging a team down.

Might be good for me to focus on those damned x's anyhow.

I would love to do it but I'm not a weekends off kind of guy. But if I read everything that I have and read it correctly I can take my own targets any day or night I want and score myself and report back?

You can shoot your game any day of the week, the scores are simply due on Sundays. You have all week to get them shot and posted here on the official scoring threads.

Guys, we may have to push things back a week so that we can get targets ordered for everyone. I know Justin was in the process of ordering them and will have them in the store here on bowhunting.com, but he may not be able to get them in and start shipping to each of you until next week. I'll send him a note and see when he can get them in. I know he's at the ATA show tomorrow and Friday, but I'll hear more soon.

Whatever your targets will cost. They are generally pretty cheap, like less than a dollar or two per target.

Sounds good to me. My "range" is a side hill covered in about .5" of ice. No way I'm trekking out on that to shoot.

No biggie, thanks for the update. I have a busy schedule this winter and just trying to figure out what night I can shoot based on when the league starts.

    Update -

I know a lot of you guys are shooting outside, and the cold weather combined with the targets arriving a bit later than we anticipated has caused us to push things back a bit. Targets are on the way and you should be able to place orders for them here on bowhunting.com shortly, I would imagine next week. Justin will updates us when they are in stock and available through the store. This will allow Justin to ship them to you, and you should then have them in yoru hands by end of next week at the latest.

New start date is 2/1. I've updated the rules thread to reflect this.

Let's see how many more people we can get involved in this league, anyone here have a buddy or two they can invite?
