The old d40 took over 800 pics the last couple weeks, mostly of bucks. Here are a few of my favorites. The "beans" buck is growing nicely... A few of his buddies are doing good too. There is one with odd brows that has some major mass at his bases..for bucks around here atleast. Who knows if/ how far these bucks will disperese come fall, but I like to be optimistic that I will at least see one of these deer this year, if not get on him and put him down :deer:
Prayers have been sent to the deer gods.

    Enjoy

Looks like you are going to have a few good bucks to chase this fall. Great pics, makes me miss Indiana big time. Best of luck with them this fall.

Where those ticks on the back of the one buck? Is that unusual?

Thanks for the comments everyone, I am definitely excited for October to get here. As far as the ticks, I think they are ticks, but they might be flies I don't know. All of the farmer's cows around here have flies bothering them pretty bad right now.

I have spent a lot of time at the farm putting in work (fun) and I'm finally seeing results. Last year, I got 1 picture of a good buck ALL SUMMER long so I'm definitely grateful these bucks are using the property. Only one of them is familiar from last year, I think. I'm gonna give it my all to have an encounter with any one of them.

Good luck to you all this fall.
