Lets review.:D Knees in back, just about nocked opposing player to the floor to get the ball off a missed shot. Player clearly in front of other player. Sure looks like a foul Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk
Gasol actually jumps sideways into Griffins space. If anything, thats a foul on Gasol. If the NBA wasn't all about entertainment, they would have whistled Gasol for a foul there.
You were were laughing the whole time you were typing that weren't you?:D Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk
Again. Gasol clearly did not establish position. He was standing there like a confused llama. Griffin came in front the back and the side, then Gasol tried to move to the ball, but at that point, Griffin already had established himself in position for the ball.
Funny!!! I especially love the way he apologized and helped him up... The name of the game is entertainment... If we expect more than that, who would go to the game?
If you actually believe that, your more confused than any of us thought. :what: Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk

As far as it being a foul...on both of them, Gasol is just flinging his body and arms around because he is SOFT, Griffin said to HELL with that. No establishment, never held his ground. No foul.
I agree Gasol is soft. I also have no idea what the hell any of those new videos have to do with Gasol being fouled in the first video. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk
Gasol is soft but it doesn't change the fact he got absolutely obliterated on both non calls. IDC what people argue on Pau's position, as Blake didn't have it in either move. Forearm to the defenders forehead to create space is a foul for every guard in this league, Blake gets a pass (which I understand why and don't disagree with it). Blake didn't get calls for the same reason Kobe and Lebron get whistles on jumpshots AFTER they don't fall in. Superstars will just get the whistles, its human nature for the refs and possibly treatment from the league.
Whether Gasol is "soft" or not has nothing to do with the fact that on BOTH plays Griffin committed fouls... As for the above, Beasley's play is also a FOUL. The rest, well, it just shows that somebody on youtube don't like Gasol very well. Nobody is going to claim he's some sort of inside enforcer by any means, but he's still a pretty good ball player all the way around.
I did think the Beasley play is a no whistle play.Atleast it was a close play. Unlike the original video, where he is just waiting for the ball to come off the rim. He starts to jump and gets smashed from behind. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk
I don't know, the way he drags him down with his free arm and then taunts, would draw a whistle in any basketball league other than the NBA, and I don't particularly care for Gasol either, but I call 'em as I see 'em, and it sure looks like a foul, adjuncted with a taunt at the end to put an exclamation point on it. For what it's worth, sportsmanship is very lacking in the NBA, that's for sure...
I agree that the taunt and drag down might draw a whistle from me as well but imo, the basket counts on that one. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk 2
Same can be said for all the top professional sports leagues. NBA, NFL, MLB, and NHL. If I had to rank them in order of worst sportsmanship, it would be... 1. NHL 2. MLB 3. NFL 4. NBA
For once, we can agree in this thread, except.... I'd have it this way: 1. NFL Worst 2. NHL 3. NBA 4. MLB Best
