    Received my KingPin sight today and found this part in the packaging. Tried googling for answers but couldn't figure out what it is or what it is used for. Possibly because I'm not sure what to call it.

    Anyone know what this part is used for?

    Looks lik the bracket to hold the sight light on the sight tape?
