Na, not you Sliv...or anyone here necessarily. I was just saying that in jest, I have buddies in the union (laborers) two of my best friends actually. Both are very happy, and I'm happy for them no doubt.. They call me a scab all the time lol

    I didn't know you were a plumber!

Ok, so how do we build product to be competitive agaist other bidders? Wait until american kids get off the video games and starts wanting to be educated?

It appears your not think this thru.

Its not a 1/3rd. Listen folks if it was that easy, then all jobs would have left. Our company has tried it and it was a disaster.

People like sliver sit on thier duffs and expect. You have to be dynamic. If my job goes away, I will have to do something else.

I am sure back 100 years ago, some wheelright was complaining that his job was going away and his family has been doing this for 100's of years. He had adapt. So will you and your kids.

Now I have to solve another problem for you. This does not seem to be a fair relationship:)

Ha Haa, But I don't expect much!
Tell you what I do expect, I expect American companys that want American Tax breaks to create American Jobs.

So with your education are you working on a solution? Or content, (dynamic) on being part of the problem?

If the guy loved the work you did enough to pay you double maybe you should stop believing it was because of the union and look in the mirror for the credit. You did all the hard work, not the union.

If union workers are so good and so well suited for thier jobs, why don't they start companies with thier own capital and get thier own tax breaks and make jobs for Americans?

Why is it not common for them to be able to compete?

Yes, I am working on the problems you mention. Thanks for asking.

I am afraid your too late. Problem got solved the only way it could have.

You sound a union man. Showed up late, and now expect to get paid.

You missed my point. You and your co-workers did the work, the union did not - the guy didn't pay you double just because you were union, he did it because you and your co-workers did good work. I don't get why you are giving the union the credit for the work that you and the other 6 did.

Tonight I plan on asking the union employee's at the milk plant I haul milk to what they think of the stuff going on In Wisconsin and what they think of the rally's going on In other states. I'll be totally honest and write exactly what they say no matter my views on what they say.

I gotta ask Joe. From reading all of your post's here and also on FB It seems no union anywhere can do no wrong In your eye's. Is this true?

I had mentioned earlier that I was Involved some what with a strike and that I work around union employee's all the time. After the strike I mentioned above was over I'd say 90% of the union employee's there said that they never should've done It In the1st place. Not many but some of the union employee's even called It greedy.

I'll leave out the name of the union but It's allot like the one buckeye belongs to. I like how buckeye's and my brothers union operate. I wish they all were similar to that.

Yeah I hear ya bro.... thats just like saying every non union employer out there are sweethearts! We all, well most of us.... like yourself know the difference Steve! Some just refuse to open their eyes!

I agree there are pro's and con's too everything and there always will be. I'm union and glad too be. My biggest thing is that if we loose unionship all around, this country is going to crumble "hard." Then again if our government could take that money that we don't have and give it our people here in the united states instead of across seas, we would be in pretty good shape.

Tonight I talked with a couple union boys at the milk plant regarding the stuff going on In Wisconsin. Their take was, teachers shouldn't be able to strike and walk out of the classroom. Their take on the rally's In Minnesota and New York was- Get a life people. lol! I wasn't really all that shocked either by their comments as these 2 union boys weren't pricks during the strike at the milk plant back In 1995. They then told me everyone should be lucky to even have a job In this horse **** economy.
