I guess I'm not understanding this thread....maybe I misread something. I was under the impression that lethal injection was a 3 drug process: potassium chloride, pancuronium, and pentobarbital. I've administered all three of these drugs in the clinical setting and am very certain that they are 100% FDA approved. Is it the high dosage and concentration that's not gotten the FDA approval? Like Tom said, surely all those who've gotten lethally injected in the past should be enough of a clinical trial to show the cocktail does it's job.
First world problems....creating ridiculous things to argue over because people have nothing better to do.
