Could you provide some info on how the nock works? Where it is available? Possibly a link?

Its only available from their website. TURBONOCK - The benchmark in precision arrow flight
I just ordered some out of curiosity and the fact that they aren't very expensive. I will be doing a comprehensive review with pictures from set up to flight testing and put it up here.

I just ordered 10 to try in my Easton FMJs. I will try them out and post results after I return from the GTG

I am curious as to how much excessive wear the Turbonock puts on a string/serving. Just seems like it would create a lot of friction as it's being released from the string.

It's also a good comparison of straight fletch and helical. Some of the arrows aren't spinning hardly at all while others are twisting quite a bit.

We sell these on line. TURBONOCK - The benchmark in precision arrow flight

In simplest terms they do for arrows what rifling does for bullets.
Bullets are mechanically rotated in the gun barrel by the rifling. and are stabilized.
The nock throat of all versions of the Turbonock has a twist in it. It twists on the bowstring and has to twist off.
The benefits are first you have the arrow stabilized instantly using a small amount of energy from the bow. Since the arrow is now spinning you need much less vane area to keep it spinning. String wear is comparable to conventional nocks.
I do recommend lubricating the serving where the nock is placed on the bowstring.
