Vandalizing any classic vehicle is a kneecap-able offense in my book.

I've owned full size ford chevy and dodge trucks and my 03 tacoma has beat them all. Ok on gas and bullet proof. Only been stuck once. 2 full size Chevys got stuck trying to pull me out. Ended up having to get a track hoe to get all 3 of us out ;).

He's said he wanted to drive it from FL to WI regularly. That's why I went with the Wrangle Brute.

If it was a vehicle just for me, it'd be something like this:

A Commando will be my next project vehicle :tu:

I was headed to Canada to buy a perfect cream white commando with red interior one weekend in 1991 I bought a ring instead. Still do not regret it but that commando was perfect. Too bad they never put an 8 cylinder in it.

If I'm going way back in the boonies, I tow the Sammy with my Nissan Frontier 4x4 crew cab and carry my camping gear in it. I can also throw all the camping gear on top of the Sammy.

They did put the 304 in it the last couple years when it had the ugly square front.

Honestly im going to vote for the Jeep Cherokee. Strong, capable, affordable, and dependable. Im on my 4th one in 10 years. 2 I destroyed with a ton of abuse on trails they had no business being on, another one hit a bear. The one I drive now is a 99' with only 68000 miles. Ill hold on to her until she dies

I hit a good size Buck with the Sammy going about 60 mph down a hill. Killed the deer and knocked him flying about 50 feet but the Sammy survived, Had a little body damage around the headlight but the winch bumper I built didn't budge.

My husband's YJ is like that... Goes 60mph... Downhill. With a tailwind. Lol!!

I think jeep made a bet that they could make the four-banger wrangler and people would willingly pay good money for them; knowing full well that they'd need to tear the drive train all apart and replace it with better parts from other vehicles. Lol

I also think Honda made a bet they could make and sell the ugliest vehicle on the road. Hence, the Element. Either that or they hired a blind, cubist designer.

I never paid over 3 grand for any of my cherokees except for the one I currently drive. Drove down to gorgia to pick it up and gave 4200 for it. Best vehicles ever made IMO

This is my hunting truck. This thing has been all over hunting waterfowl, turkeys, coyotes, deer, pheasants, wolves, sheds, bowfishing and several archery shoots. You may have even been lucky enough to see it at the BHOD get together. Heck, this thing will go where most trucks will got here in Minnesota, only had it stuck once. It's hauled a lot of game but mostly this thing hauls ***! :p
