Damit, My eyes have just started giving me fits  Im on the tickling edge of 45 YO and my eyes have been perfect up to this point. Things are starting to blur and get out of focus when reading. Its just the things small and up close as of now. My eyes get stressed out from trying to focus  A guy at work said try his reading glasses on and  woah, it was all better. Im getting old :( looks like a peep verifyer might be in order soon :( (and reading glasses) Think they might make me studius looking ? :p

Count your blessings... I was 38 when I started needing reading glasses. :) That was three years ago...

I still don't really have a problem shooting though without a verifier... but I CANNOT lay a bead of glue down on a feather base without my reading glasses. :)

I don't think glasses, a pipe and the London Times newspaper could make you studious looking:p:D

My dad got lasix surgery done a couple years ago, best decision he made for his eyes

I've been considering a verifier. Not sure if it would help for my needs However. My eye sight is terrible, somewhere in the neighborhood of 20/200 IIRC. In other words, when the doc's make me line up and read from the lines on the chart, I can't see the giant "E" at the top of the paper w/o my contacts. It's a huge blur.

Now, because of my contacts I get a big halo around my .29 pins and they cover too much up. Trying to decide if I want new pins or a verifier.

So, if you decide to use the verifier let me know how it does:cool:

Hey Justin...........Is there any way we can turn the volume up on the text? Poor Dan-O here is getting old and I want him to be able to hear every piece of advice he's given.

I've been blessed with the eyes. When I hit 56 I started to have trouble reading small print. Eye test showed me with 20/20 or better everytime.... but reading small stuff sucked. I bought reading glasses. Whoa.... I could read again. Whoa.... I became reliant on them. The more I used them the more I needed them. I still test out at 20/20. I can look off intothe wild blue yonder and see just fine. I just can't read small print. Now when you're a fly fisherman... that's a pain. I have polorized glasses to penetrate the water... but I need reading glasses handy to tie on flies and all that fine work. It's such a pain. I have reading glasses all over the house, in my truck, in my waders.... everywhere. Such a pain to keep up with. Fortunately I can still buy them at Wallmart or whatever for a few bucks. I feel for you. It's hell getting old. At least I don't have to spend 100's on prescription eyeware.
