Ah yes my favorite personal hobby after bowhunting. Anderson back in the eight sided cage to avenge the disappointing outing he had last time out. Should be a good fight I will predict Anderson by TKO round 2.

Shogun will get KO no later than round 2 by Chuck not that Chuck has looked great because he has not but Shogun has been nothing but a disappointment since his return from Pride. We have real fights over here Shogun.

And I hope Kristoff gets killed. He is overhyped in my opinion but I don't know much about Stann the guy he is fighting. I will predict Stann by Unanimous Decision because Kristoff has never impressed me. Hopefully I have my turkey by then. Or I will be one tired dude.

Who knows, but my guesses are below:

Silva by KO in the 1st
Chuck by decision. I bet we will see a good portion of this on the ground, and it will be a close tie w/ Hardonk/Kongo for FOTN
Stann by TKO stoppage in the third
Hardonk by KO - This has awesome potential to be FOTN
    Cane by decision
Magalhaes by submission in the 1st
Kang by TKO in the 2nd
Macdonald by submission in the 1st
    Loiseau by decision
    Bocek by decision
    Chonan by submission
    Stout by TKO

Read some interesting public comments from Dana White the other day, who has obviously helped promote Chuck for a couple different reasons: one, out of his friendship, but probably just as importantly is the fact that Chuck is the league's biggest moneymaker ever...

Dana called this a "must-win" fight... which isn't that big of a surprise at all. But the thing that caught my eye is that he said he had to win it "convincingly" for Chuck to stay as a main-card draw.

I think we will see another battle similar to the Silva/Liddell fight Greg. I also know that Chuck has pulled in a new boxing coach I'm assuming to improve his footwork, defense, and head movement. I also believe we will see some more of his kicks in this fight. He had some awesome kicks back when he didn't rely on that overhand right, I bet we will see more of that in this fight. I also know he has had several American Top Team coaches helping Hackleman with his camp for this fight.

As much as I like Shogun, I bet 100% of his focus since the Coleman fight has been on improving his cardio. I really don't think he has what it takes to take Chuck down and keep him down. If he can't take him down, the only other place I think Shogun has an advantage is in the clinch, and I don't see Chuck being dumb enough to let the fight go there for long. If Shogun chases him to close the distance and clinch, he will be playing into Chuck's best strength, counter striking.

I see this one going to decision, but being a lights out barn burner. This is all assuming that Shogun has fixed the cardio problem.

First off, I'd like to go to the Krzystof VS. Stann fight, for you guys that don't know who Brian Stann is... One word... "Beast", I'm am THRILLED to see him in the UFC coming from WEC, The Former marine is a stand up guy that I think could put Chuck Liddell on his back... VIA fist. I'm placing my bet within the next year, Brian Stann will have a UFC Title belt.

Greg/MO I inquire your intellectual thoughts of Brian Stann in the UFC?

    Now....Winners:

    Silva TKO 1st
    Liddell TKO 2nd
    Stann TKO 1st

    That's what I wanna see anyway.:deer:

    My picks...
Silva wins by TKO round 2 with a big knee followed by many more
Liddell wins by TKO Rd. 2
Stann wins by TKO Rd. 1... and yes he is a BEAST!
Kongo/Hardonk will be FOTN, hopefully with Kongo being the victor
    Luiz Cane will beat Cantwell
    Denis Kang will dominate
I am hoping Nate Quarry pounds "The Athlete" because I like Nate a lot and can't stand MacDonald even worse
Louiseu/Herman fight could be very exciting as well. I am a big Herman fan, but like David as well
I'm also hoping to see Ryo's fight as well as the Stout/Wiman fight

I think Cantwell will beat Cane... Cantwell is the only guy to avenge a loss against Stann... Call it whatever you want, but from what Ive seen on Stann... anyone who beats him(even if it takes 2 times to do it) has got to be pretty good.lol

Buckmaster, unfortunately I don't get Versus, which is the channel the WEC airs on around here, so I haven't had a chance to personally see Stann in action.

I really don't care who wins w/ Liddel and Shogun, because I love both of them, I just hope for a really good fight and for the UFC fans to get to see Shogun bring his A game. Unfortunately he has looked mediocre at best since leaving Pride. It really looks like he is taking his training camp seriously though, and is improving his guard standing, which is exactly what I think he needs to be competitive w/ Chuck.

A quick video of his training camp.........he looks good. I really hope he has gas in the tank and keeps those hands up, or it's going to be a quick fight.

RJ and I were texting each other during that one, and I had JUST said something about how low Chuck was carrying his hands... still. Shogun was just missing every time he threw an overhand bomb, and it didn't take but a couple seconds after I sent that text that it was over.
