Not the womens...everyone talks about them.

The men are starting to play some fine basketball. This team is a lot more talented than their record alludes to. I think this team is in the tournament for sure, and could possibly make a run, they're hot right now. They've had the toughest schedule in the country

    What do you guys think?

I still think they've got a little work to do. Their RPI is only 45so they'll need 1-2 more big wins before they're in for sure IMO.

Of course, then again, the way the Big East Tournament goes they could easily win it and get the automatic bid :D

Definitely playing good right now. Not 100% sold on them though. They've been beaten pretty good by some mediocre teams. Who knows though? The Big East is just weird in general lol. Makes my brain hurt. I do think the last couple big wins solidified them in the tourney.

I definitely think they should get in over some mid-major teams that have good records, but terrible strength of schedule.

I hope they win out to be honest (until the NCAA tourney)....A win that was sure to be a signature win for UK early on fell to crap when UCONN fell apart. Wins over Nova and WVU are a huge upswing for them, they are starting to get back to how they started out playing.

On the other hand, how about them tar heels? 7 mcdonalds AAs on their team and they are NIT bound unless their name buys them a bid. I love it. :D

Scary good teams right now are Cuse, Kansas, and UK. The rest have their ups and downs but I am starting to think Duke may be the next most consistent team, as bad as it pains me to say that.

I think they're one of the teams noone would want to play right now. I'm afraid they've dug and awfully deep hole for themselves. I think they'd have to win out and the league tournament to get in.

I hate it! :D The Heels just aren't clicking this year. Lack of guard play is what all the mainstream media says but to me it is a lot more than that. Thompson is a senior with the leadership skills of a frosh. Ginyard seems to have had his leadership skills falter as his confidence has faltered on the court. Beyond that, the past 4 years they've had a team that when hit in the mouth came back hungrier and angrier than before (see Tyler Hansbrough). This team has responded to adversity by seemingly losing it's confidence and it's desire. I feel bad for Roy Williams. For the first time in 21 years he likely won't be in the tournament and for the first time in 21 years his coaching style isn't winning.

I've always battled in my head between Coach K and Coach Williams for is the nations best coach (I know, Boheim, Pitino, Calipari should be in the mix), but this year has shown me that Coach K's style enables him to do more with less. Granted, I'd still take UNC over Duke in a heartbeat! :D

Spot on with the scary good teams. Syracuse and that match up zone is just unbelievable. With Rautins (sp?) and Johnson leading the way, they are a definite title contender. Kansas has it all: experience, depth, PG play. UK to be so young is just unreal, 4 potential top 20 picks (please stay bledsoe!) AND they play well together.

Teams to watch out for: West Virginia, Villanova, Ohio State

They have a few talented players, but they are not very deep. I could see them running out of gas if they make a run in the Big East tourney. Dyson and Walker play a lot of minutes and they rely heavily on these guys. They are talented, but I'm not sure they can keep it up. When they are playing well, they are as fun as any backcourt in the country to watch. And if Robinson and Edwards contribute points and rebound well, they can beat just about anyone.

Trevor, I can already see we could talk for hours. :D We're a lot of like and see eye to eye on a lot of stuff.

UNC is terrible, they've been hit hard with injuries this year. They just aren't playing very well together and once teams get down, it's hard to pull out of it.Larry Drew isn't helping them at ALL but they'll be back, probably next year.

As a Tennessee fan, I hate to say it but UK is STRONG. I'd like to see them win it all.

Tennessee has run out of gas, they really have. Losing Tyler Smith has killed us. The season is definately wearing on them. Scotty Hopson HAS to start being more aggressive. He's too good of a player to just be taking 6-10 shots in most games. Chism needs to get healthy. I still think we have a shot at beating UK at home this weekend. I just have that feeling. They won't do anything special in the tournaments though. They'll win a game or two in the SEC tourney and a game or two in the NCAA. We have an AWESOME recruiting class coming in next year though. Things are on the up and up for us :D

A team that isn't getting much recognition but is a damn good team is Kansas State. I think this is a team that can make a serious run in the NCAA tournament.

Obviously Kansas, UK, and Syracuse are studs. Don't count Duke out though, this is the best team they have had in a few years. They are very consistant and are a very good basketball team. Like I said earlier, Kansas State is a VERY good team. They're kind of under the radar right now. Purdue is another team that is getting hot at the right time.

Some more teams that are under the radar that could potentially make some noise are

    Georgetown
    UConn
    Vanderbilt
    Wisconsin
    Michigan State

If I had to pick my final four right now, I think it would be Duke, Purdue, Kansas State, and Kansas. I just have a feeling that UK's inexperience will get to them.

I like the Georgetown and Michigan State picks. State is one of those teams that can make a run no matter their seed. We all know the tournament is usually dominated by guard play, and if Dyson and Walker can keep it up, they might carry Uconn further than many are expecting. Mississippi State is another team that intrigues me. I don't see them making it that deep, but I could see them knocking off someone big in the second round.

If Hummel's knee injury is serious, Purdue's chances won't look so good. I'm not sold on Duke considering how weak the ACC is this year.
