So, here I am with this idea.... I have shot about 10 squirrels, a few with bow others with 4-10.. I am thinking about attempting of using the hind legs to make jerky, it would be small pieces but would be a great snack when out back packing to your spot...Just curious if anyone has done this.

Any suggestions on game that make good jerky?

    Types of seasonings you suggest?

I forgot the price of tags in my sig :(

Yeah it would be small, I want to try keeping the hind leg intact with taking out the bone VERY carefully.

Just got a goose at 17:22 this evening with the bow in the back yard... Anyone ever make jerky out of this?? I'm seasoning it right now with Worcestershire sauce and Lawry's seasoning salt. gonna smoke it with hickory and apple wood. Hopefully it doesn't turn out a waste of meat.
