Will be going under the knife to repair a torn meniscus along with clean up of the cartilage under the knee cap. Have the next two weekends to get anything I want planted, into the ground, and get my few stands up where I want them. Good thing is that by opening day I will be back to good as OLD. This is one way to keep out of the woods that I would not recommend. Shoots a big hole in any plan of upgrading equipment.
I hope all goes well for ya. Are you getting the full repair or a partial. My hunting partner for CO got a slight tear on his meniscus about a month ago. Dr. said to do some strength training and exercising on a bike and swim. I wish the best for you and hope you have a good year. I know my knees or shoulders will be a problem soon enough. Get well and don't rush it.
Ouch! Good luck buddy. Good thing is they've come a long way with those repairs. Hope you have a good ortho.
Good luck to you. If I lived closer, I'd give you a hand with preparation for the season. Blessings........Pastorjim
Good luck with the surgery Remmett! My dad is in the same situation. He's having hernia surgery 10 days before our archery season opener. He's a die hard hunter so I know he's not comfortable or he'd put it off if he could. Best of luck and prayers for a speedy recovery!
Prayers for a smooth surgery and a speedy recovery.. and hoping you have the outdoor/sports cable package!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Make sure to beware of blood clots. That can develop easily in knee surgeries and is dangerous. My bro had one and luckily survived it. Just something to talk to the doc about. Prayin for a quick and thorough recovery!
Good luck with that surgery. Like mentioned they are not near as much of a pain as they use to be. Wishing you a quick and complete recovery. Definitely follow the doc's orders. I've had cartilage replacement surgery once and my meniscus trimmed a few times. My knee hurt so long before the replacement surgery I had forgotten what it was like to have a solid knee.
