    1. Bow season starts this Saturday for us in KY, and I am new this year a bit. But anyways, do you all take your stands into the woods with you that day you go in to hunt or should I go set up the next day or so in before hand? I'm on private property, and I'm the only one on it, no major worries there. Also I'm using my climber obviously, just making that clear.

    2. I know this could go under trail cameras but got a photo of a bobcat today on my trail camera. Are they anything to worry about or do they usually mind their own business? Thanks for the help!

Bobcat shouldn't worry you. On private property we leave our climbers on the tree (we have 7 climbers for 2 people). We don't worry about theft. If it's a mild concern I'd walk in with it. If no worries I'd leave it out.

I would carry the stand in and out with you every time, unless you know for sure where you are hunting the next time. As far as the bobcat, I doubt you will ever see it while walking in or out. They are really elusive, and stay far away (at least in my experience).

Don't worry about the bob cat. They are good at killing turkeys and rabbits. They have a freaky sound when they scream. I've heard it several times and it still startles me. I would also pack the stand in and out. Stand theft is pretty bad where I hunt. I can leave hang ons locked up, but always take the climbing sticks. Climbers don't have much of a chance even if you put a lock on it.
