Would not want to break an arrow shooting through a high fence

No high fence. But you can see I have put in a water hole. 2nd one I have put in over last two years and I keep a game camera on them at all times. Entire family enjoys seeing what all kinds of animals come into them, even the non hunters. Family farm we have had for 40 plus years.

I have competing hunters on all sides. Unless those deer become nocturnal real soon, they have a short expiration date with gun season starting early November.

I am mid sixties and have shot all the deer I care to shoot unless it’s a doe for the freezer or really mature buck. I have been more of a photographer than hunter for last 10 years +/-. I have younger family members that have less time to hunt than I that will likely take a shot at either of them if given a chance. Texas Panhandle area and area is capable of growing/producing some large deer.

I seldom visit this site anymore, much less post anything. Thanks for reminding me why.
