Funny show. Charlie Sheen became legend because of it whether you like him or not. But the new episode with Ashton? May be the shows funniest episode. Thoughts?
I think the show will be a lot funnier with Ashton Kutcher. Charlie Sheen is great, but honestly, I just never thought he was that good of an actor. Cryer is hilarious and so is the lady who plays Berta, but Sheen was just kind of there, and is role never really expanded and the episodes just seemed like re-runs after a while. He was funny and played the perfect role (because the role was of his real life basically) for the show, but there times when I thought his character held the show back. I can't wait to see the new direction the show takes with Kutcher.
Charlie Sheen isn't a great actor, but when the show is about HIM, he played it very well. Once you realize he's like that in real life as well, you sort of start to wonder WTH.....
Was worried when Charlie left or got the boot or whatever happened. I think Ashton is a good actor but didn't know if he could live up to Charlies character. I thought the first episode was great and can't wait for the rest of the season.
I don't think I even cracked a smile,kutcher was so bland and not even funny,I think they should have ended it.
I have never watched the show before but I watched the new one. I laughed maybe once. I thought it was pretty lame. It may be because I have not seen any of the previous seasons. I like Kutcher somewhat but overall I was disappointed. I am going to watch a couple more episodes and we see how it goes.
Charlie Sheen is hilarious. Yes he's crazy. But the guy owns everything he does, and just doesn't give a damn. I can respect that. Ashton Kutcher is a dbag. But he's a funny dbag. I'll still watch it, but Kutcher didn't help the show, IMO.
I loved the old show and Charlie in his roll. The pilot for the new show was a disappointment. We'll see how it goes for a couple more episodes. But right now I'm leaning towards.... it's going to be a letdown.
I think the same thing. When he said he wasn't calling from the ocean, it took me right back to That 70's Show.
Seen a couple of episodes and didn't really laugh. I like more witty humor than just a sex joke every other line.
Kutcher is a bad actor and really not very funny imo I didn't mind him in the 70's show but haven't liked him in anything since
I actually thought it was a decent episode. I may watch it again, just to get a second feel. But, I'll have to see a few more episodes before making an opinion on AK.
