I have really enjoyed watching the Twins sweep the brewers this week, fun to watch when the Twins are playing well. I do not think that they have any business talking about playoffs but they are over achieving.
The Brewers are just a complete train wreck. They might be the only team that could go from being like 5 games in first place at the all-star break to being lucky if they don't finish last in the division. The implosion happens every year. Few years ago all they had to do was not lose like 20 of their last 25 games to make the playoffs...Think they made the playoffs that year?
The brewers did their job this year. They kept it interesting till the Packers started training camp. That is there only purpose on this planet.
...And didn't sell the farm system to take a shot at making the playoffs after an overachieving first 1/2. Sent from my XT1254 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
The guy that pitched for the brewers last night was coming off his best 4 starts of his career. Hell when Byron Buxton gets 3 hits you know the pitcher is off. I kid about that when Byron figures out hitting he will be a super star. The Twins had Roy Smallie doing play by play this week he makes the game for interesting with his insite, he does not sound like a commentator it is like you are sitting watching the game with him and he is giving his thoughts and approach.
Brewers are in a tailspin, but were predicted to be 3rd worst MLB team. Some fans forget we are still rebuilding, but yet challenging teams like the might cubs. Twins have some entertaining players to eatch!
Headed down Tuesday night to go see big sexy pitch, gonna meet the son at the loon cafe for a beer and see the scalpers after the game starts.
Game on, ended up buying tics from the twins box office going to be a full stadium. Milestone day when you go meet the son for a beer and a ballgame.
Sounds like a good time. Looks like a great place to catch a game. Hotels, nightlife, and ballpark all very close. Indians have been rolling, hoping they keep it going.
