Alright guys. I need your help. I find now that I have a lot of time on my hands when were are not on missions. I usually hit the gym and talk to the wife and kids, but that is still leaving a decent amount of time, and Im starting to run out of things to watch as well. So I need some suggestions of TV shows, series to watch. Just to give you and idea what Im into Seen every season of: SOA, The Shield, How I Met Your Mother, Swamp people. There are some others but Im blanking right now. Im about to start watching Justified but im pretty sure that will only last a month or so. I have 8 months left in Afghanland so suggest some good shows.
Duck Dynasty is a pretty great show. Justified is good and if you ever get a chance to catch an old series that was on HBO a few years back called Deadwood - that was Just awesome. Al's my hero.
I highly recommend Dexter. You'd have to get the DVDs though cause starting at season 1 is a must. SOA is really the only other show I follow.
appreciate the reply guys. Dexter and Breaking bad were some of the ones I forgot to mention. But Ill try to check out some of the other ones. Ill see if the Hadji shop here has some. I tried to get netflix and hulu, but i guess you have to be stateside to get those. But I cant complain. I wish I could move some of this Afghanistan countryside back with me, cause it sure is beautiful in some places.
Beyond the Outdoor, Military, and the History Channel Most of the stuff on TV, isn't worth watching. Even TLC and the Discovery Channel is circling the drain obscurity. For me it's a search of the Graphic Audio.net Website for a good audio book. Or VHS tapes of shows I've recorded over the years and that's as good as it gets.
The Office (before the current season), AFV, Big Bang Theory, Celebrity Apprentice, Renovation Realities, Nat Geo Wild Big Cat shows...
game of thrones like stated above duck dynasty top shot for some reason i like anthony bourdain's no reservations on food network snow trax tv most any of the 30 for 30's on espn
