I'm with you on this one buddy!
Kind of like back in the day when it was taboo to even think about mentioning baiting on TV.

I have a feeling you don't know the real story on or about most "hunting" shows.

    On many levels.

I lived in Iowa for 5.5 years and spent my fair share of time "more than most" in a stand over looking a corn field through the fall...I'm not saying this to be a guy who's trying to argue with anyone...BUT if you've never set on a corn field that's been combined in the past couple days in Iowa then it's hard to grasp the concept of what can go down there. I've been in more than 1 stand on a corn field that had been harvested/chopped in the past few days and seen 75+ at a time in the field. I've hunted numerous states in my 40 years on this earth and Iowa is just a different place, I've seen deer do stuff there that I have never seen anywhere else. Now granted, a lot of these guys are just chopping corn down to "bait" the deer in, but in that state when setting on the right field it's not uncommon for deer to look like cattle on a corn field.

I don't have a problem with it, it is a cut corn field. They just cut it with a bush hog. There is probably a lot of people that wouldn't know what they meant if they said it was a freshly bush hogged field.
