    Turnips in a food plot mix...are they not eatable by humans?? Heard that today...input?

    Great food plot choice. I use a mix of forage and regular garden turnips. During the winter, the deer will paw them out of the ground.

    Edible for who? I will tell ya that in some mixes, they lead you to believe that there is turnips when there is only turnip rape. I've had alot better luck with straight green globe turnips.

    See thats what I thought, but me and my uncle were discussing it today and he was saying he was told we (humans) couldnt eat them if they were from a mix??

    I've eaten plenty of them after the first freeze. Its like eating a big radish.

    I have issues getting my wife to not eat them and leave them for the deer !
