Well turkey season closed for us here in GA this past weekend (don't ask :bash:). Now its onto tourney shoots. Going to my first of the year this weekend wish me luck. Maybe I'll have better luck with that then the turkeys. Turkeys--> :whip: <--Me

Same here. I went turkey hunting Friday night, got some birds roosted and thought if the weather held off I'd be in good shape for Saturday AM. The weather didn't hold off. I got woke up at 3:00AM by a thunder storm. Thank God for quality tents! I packed up and went home. The area I hunted in SW Parker Co. got 4" of rain Saturday. I had to work graduation Sunday so thats it. Texas turkey season ended Sunday. I did get a good look at this new place to hunt and Have high hopes for next year. I'll be the only one hunting a good population of Rios, its free, and its close. Can't hardly beat that.
I too will start 3-Ds this coming weekend and may even do a couple of pop-up 3-Ds on thursday nights.
