It looks like I might get a chance to go out for a little while tomorrow morning. Wish me luck. We still have about 2 1/2 weeks of season left in Nebraska.

I was able to get out for a couple hours yesterday morning. Saw two but they were too far away and the grass was too tall for me to tell if they were hens or jakes for sure. I also had some gobbling going on on the other side of the trees from me. Unfortunately, that was on a neighboring property and I couldn't get them to come across the line.
Season ended for me yesterday with big helping of turkey tag soup. Oh well, maybe next year's luck will be better. It was fun sharing the season with you all. On the bright side. It's only 91 day, 22 hours and 42 minutes until deer season...
